Policy & Procedures

Cancellations

A cancellation fee will apply to those that cancel under a 48 hour notice. The cancellation fee will be half the price of the session fee.

Travel Fee

A travel fee will apply to locations outside of 50 miles from Vacaville, CA and will be collected the week before my trip.

>50 miles = no fee

51-100 miles = $50 travel fee

101-150 miles = $75 travel fee

151-200 miles = $100 travel fee

Over 200 miles will be discussed

The travel fee is split among the number of clients that I am servicing in a particular location.

For example, if 5 clients are scheduled on the same day in the 51-100 mile location then the travel fee is split among the 5 people, so it would be $10 per client. So, the more clients I have in each location the lower the travel fee will be per person.

Exceptions are made to this rule if there is a minimum amount of horses being treated in one location for each mile marker.

Payment

Payment is collected after the completion of the session. If payment is not received after 48 hours of the completion of services then a late fee of $20 will apply for each week that the payment is outstanding.

Veterinary Approval

Acuscope & Myopulse Therapy is not a substitute for proper veterinary care. If any injury has occurred or a condition needs to be diagnosed you need to contact your primary veterinarian. For horses that are under the direct care of a veterinarian for rehabilitation or diagnostic purposes veterinary approval will be required in order for your horse to receive treatments from Equanimity Animal Therapy. This does not apply to horses that are seeking Acuscope Therapy for optimizing performance purposes.
